Bitcoin Wallets
There are two types of wallets when working with digital currencies, company wallets and private wallets.
Company wallets require information from you, this allows you to purchase and sell bitcoin at your will.
Private wallets allow you to secure bitcoin yourself, free to download and no registration required. The down side is, you cant purchase bitcoin from them(though, some have some neat features that will allow you to purchase bitcoin in various ways).

Company Wallets
Coinbase - This wallet has been in the game since the early days of bitcoin. Recieving investments from NYSE, Andreesen Horowitz and other well known institutions. Read up on it here.

Circle acts as a wallet, purchase and sell instantly! There is a limit for first time users, limit is raised the more you use them!

There are many other wallet services out there, each with unique features and other digital currency wallets, the ones mentioned above are personally my favorite and easier to use. If you choose to use other wallets, be sure to do your due diligence, there are wallets out there that can steal your digital currency if not careful!
